Malang, 29 November 2025 — Entering the second day of the “Building an AI-Based Chatbot Step by Step” training program, AI-LAB together with the Provincial Government of East Java continued the agenda with more advanced and technical-focused sessions. The training, held at the UPT Cooperative Training Center in Malang, was attended by participants from the Bureau of Government and Regional Autonomy, East Java Regional Secretariat, who showed even greater enthusiasm as they moved into hands-on implementation.
While Day 1 centered on foundational AI concepts and the workflow behind chatbot development, Day 2 invited participants to dive deeper into technical implementation, conversation design, and chatbot integration within government workflows.
The sessions were once again led by AI-LAB’s core team:
- Miftah Fadli (CEO), who provided strategic insights on how chatbots can strengthen public service delivery.
- Mifthahul Amien (CTO), who guided participants through the technical workshop—building conversation models, testing AI responses, and performing simple API integrations.
- Yosia Purba (CMO), who helped participants understand how chatbots can enhance two-way communication between government institutions and the public.
Throughout the hands-on lab sessions, participants worked on creating their own early-stage chatbot prototypes. They explored how these chatbots can answer public inquiries, assist with information processing, and support day-to-day administrative tasks within government environments.
The learning atmosphere became even more engaging as participants practiced debugging, refining conversation flows, and stress-testing their chatbots with real-world scenarios. The AI-LAB team provided step-by-step guidance, ensuring every participant grasped the technical reasoning behind each feature they built.
The second day of the program highlighted the shared commitment of AI-LAB and the East Java Provincial Government to empower government employees with strong digital capabilities—preparing them to build and implement their own AI-driven solutions.
With solid technical foundations now in place, participants are one step closer to deploying chatbots that will support a future of smarter, faster, and more human-centered public services.
